Connect the wallet that owns the lock, open PinkLock → Token → My Lock, click View on the lock, then Unlock. For a vesting lock, Unlock releases every cycle that has completed so far. Nothing arrives on its own, and only the owner wallet can do it.
PinkLock is PinkSale's token locker. Projects use it in two ways: a simple lock, where the whole amount is held until one date, and a vesting lock, where a share unlocks at TGE and the rest releases in cycles. Either way, the tokens sit in the PinkLock contract until the lock's owner withdraws them. For background on the two lock types, see what PinkSale PinkLock is.
How to unlock a PinkLock, step by step
These steps follow PinkSale's own unlock guide.
- 1Connect the wallet that was set as the lock's owner. No other wallet can unlock it.
- 2Go to PinkLock → Token, and switch to the chain the lock is on.
- 3Open the My Lock tab, find your lock and click View.
- 4Once the lock has expired, or a vesting cycle has completed, click Unlock.
- 5Confirm the transaction in your wallet and pay the network gas fee. The tokens go to the owner wallet.
Vesting locks: what Unlock releases
A vesting lock releases a TGE percentage on the listing date, then a cycle release percentage every cycle (for example, every 30 days). You don't need to claim on the day each cycle ends. Completed cycles accumulate, and one Unlock withdraws everything available up to that point, so missing a cycle costs you nothing except time.
| Example lock | Value |
|---|---|
| Total locked | 10,000 tokens |
| TGE release (20%) | 2,000 at listing |
| Cycle release (40% every 30 days) | 4,000 after cycle 1, 4,000 after cycle 2 |
This example is the one PinkSale uses in its team vesting docs.
Why the Unlock button isn't showing
- Wrong wallet. Only the owner wallet sees an active Unlock. If ownership was transferred, the new owner unlocks it.
- Wrong chain. PinkLock runs separately on each chain. Switch network in both PinkSale and your wallet.
- Too early. Before the end date (or before the next cycle completes) there is nothing to release yet.
- Ownership was renounced. Renouncing sends the lock's ownership to a dead address. After that, nobody can unlock the remaining tokens, ever.
Can't find your lock?
If you received tokens through a PinkSale vesting lock and don't know which chain or lock ID it's on, paste the wallet into Vestream's free wallet scan. It reads PinkLock on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon and Base, alongside 12 other vesting protocols, and shows what's locked, what's unlockable now and the next release date. You still unlock on PinkSale itself; Vestream only finds it for you. The PinkSale unlock tracker lists upcoming releases across every PinkLock vesting we index.
PinkLock unlock FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Does PinkLock send tokens automatically when the lock ends?
No. Tokens stay in the PinkLock contract until the owner wallet clicks Unlock and confirms the transaction. There's no automatic release.
Is there a fee to unlock a PinkLock?
You pay the network gas fee for the unlock transaction. PinkSale's unlock guide doesn't mention any separate PinkSale fee for unlocking.
What happens if I miss a vesting cycle?
Nothing is lost. Completed cycles accumulate, and the next Unlock withdraws everything that has vested so far.
Can someone else unlock my PinkLock?
No. Only the wallet set as the lock owner can unlock it. If ownership is renounced, no one can unlock the remaining tokens.
How do I find which chain my PinkLock is on?
Paste your wallet into Vestream's free scan. It checks PinkLock on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon and Base and shows each lock with its next release date.
