Open the project's Unvest investor dashboard (or find it at app.unvest.io/projects), connect your wallet on the right chain, open Claim Token, pick the vesting round and click Claim. The unlocked tokens are sent to your wallet.
Unvest wraps each allocation in a vesting token: an ERC-20 that represents your locked balance and converts into the real token as it vests. Because it's a token, an allocation can move between wallets. How it works is covered in what Unvest is.
How to claim on Unvest
These steps follow Unvest's claiming guide.
- 1Open the project's investor dashboard from the link the project shared, or find the project at app.unvest.io/projects.
- 2Connect your wallet and switch to the chain the round is on.
- 3Click the Claim Token panel on the left.
- 4Choose the vesting round you want to claim from.
- 5If tokens are available, a Claim button appears at the top. Click it and approve the transaction.
- 6Once it confirms, the tokens are in your wallet.
What claiming costs
Since Unvest v3, a claim carries a small protocol fee calculated as a share of the transaction's gas cost, on top of the gas itself. Claims aren't subject to the transfer fee. Moving still-locked vesting tokens to another wallet is different: Unvest deducts 2.5% from each transfer, unless the project has set it to zero. Details are in Unvest's fee docs.
If there's nothing to claim
- Wrong chain or round. Unvest runs on several chains, and one project can have several rounds.
- The allocation moved. Vesting tokens are transferable, so the balance may now sit in another wallet you control.
- Too early. Nothing is claimable before the round's first release.
Find forgotten Unvest allocations
Unvest allocations are among the most often forgotten: in Vestream's study of finished vesting schedules, 87% of finished Unvest positions still held unclaimed tokens, many of them small airdrop allocations. Paste your wallet into Vestream's free wallet scan to see every Unvest position across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon and Base, with what's claimable now. You claim on Unvest; Vestream finds the rounds for you. Upcoming releases are on the Unvest unlock tracker.
Unvest claim FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Unvest tokens unlock automatically into my wallet?
No. You claim from the project's Unvest investor dashboard, and the unlocked tokens are sent to your wallet once the transaction confirms.
Is there a fee to claim on Unvest?
From Unvest v3, claims carry a small protocol fee calculated from the transaction's gas cost, plus the gas itself. Claims aren't charged the 2.5% transfer fee.
Can I sell or transfer Unvest vesting tokens before they unlock?
Yes, vesting tokens are transferable, and Unvest deducts 2.5% from each transfer unless the project has set that fee to zero.
